Amie's Star Wars Customs

Customized Cards and Figures

Amie's Star Wars Customs

Customizing is a fantastic way to expand your love for the Star Wars universe.  I have been customizing for a couple years and enjoy every minute.  I hope all who visits my site enjoys my customs and gets ideas for creating their own.

Keep a look out of new updates.  I am currently working on a couple hundred cards based on the cover art from the Dark Horse Comics.

This site is updated monthly

Approx 97% of the custom cards on this site were designed by me.  The other 3% were templates taken from either websites or cardback CD's

Approx 99% of the customs on this site were made by me.  The remaining 1% were purchases I made via Ebay from other customizers

A little bit of info about me

My name is Amber, but have been called Amie since birth.  I saw Star Wars at the movies (second time around) at the age of 3.  I was told that I no longer wanted my dolls, but my cousin Kevin's Star Wars figures.  As a child I played more with the boys, then the girls.  Of course I was always Leia and my crush would always rescue me from Vader.  I grew up and collected, but lost much of my obsession as the years drew on until sophmore year in high school.  I went to Space Camp every spring break, trying to get into that profession (my uncle is a retired astronaut, flew in the shuttle 3 times).  I bought Steven Zahn's Heir to the Empire to read on the drive.  By the time I returned home from camp, I was again obsessed with Star Wars.  That was 1990, and I am still obsessed.  I have read every book and most of the comics.  I have a huge collection of a little of everything.  A year or two ago, I was getting really bored with the whole thing.  I really didn't care much for Attack of the Clones, a little to much CGI for my taste.  I then discovered Rebelscum.com and found alot of customizers to talk to.  Since then, my main focus has been customizing.  I don't know how long it has been since I bought a figure for which I did not have plans to chop it's head off.

I was commissioned by Toyfare in late 2004 to make some customs for a spring issue.  Check out my Toyfare page to see what I made for them
